Owel-Linkso is a 4-storey commercial building located in the Lekki area of Lagos. The building sits on a raft foundation in an area of Lagos considered very marshy and filled with ‘bad-soil’. RGA was able to support the building on a raft foundation instead of a more expensive and often poorly constructed pile foundation by designing and executing a soil reclamation process. RGA’s team of engineers and quantity surveyors was able to deliver a solid structure to the client as well as a massive cost savings made from design modifications, procurement strategies and sound contract/financial management.
