This 1,360sqm residential building includes an oratory within the building. One of the highlights of this project is the anti-vortex system for stormwater management. The system retains storm water under the ground floor slab; some of the water is absorbed by the ground to continue nature’s water cycle; while the excess is gently discharged into the main drainage system by gravity. This system is a ‘green’ option, it also significantly reduces the demand on the main drains. The resultant effect amongst others is cost savings as size of drainages required is reduced, flood management as the volume of water being discharged is reduced.
